The Husky Enduro 100k'er launched

A new Mountain Bike Endurance Event for Australia, The Husky Enduro 100, or THE 100k'er, has been launched. The inaugural enduro will take place on Sunday the 14th of February 2010, and will be based out of Callala Beach in the Jervis Bay area of NSW, a pleasant 2 to 3 hour drive from both Sydney and Canberra.

Steveo's Stinging Prong take out the inaugural BlackHeart Adventure Sprint

After a fierce battle for most of the day, Peter Preston and Steven Todkill prevailed to take out the inaugural BlackHeart Events Adventure Sprint at the Sydney Academy of Sport in Narrabeen.

Here at BlackHeart Events, we spend a lot of time on the road, and it always amazing me that when I reach for the bag of "Natural Confectionary", Amanda goes reaching for the Goji berries.  So, what the heck are Goji berries, and what's the attraction?

Every year it seems there is an ultimate well being silver bullet proliferating on health food store shelves promising amazing benefits. GOJI or Chinese Wolfberry is one of a number of adaptogens with the added attraction of being derived from an exotically originated Tibetan location (great for marketing hype). Digging beneath the hype, there is an emerging body of solid science around some of the tabloid claims that Goji is an efficacious adaptogen.
