4/2/2010: Fancy a leisurely ride through the forest without competing?  Want to see THE 100K'er course first hand?  We need a few sweep riders to follow the final 100K'er & 50K'er riders, to ensure their wellbeing and safety, and generally try to keep their spirits up.  If you'd like to be a sweep rider, drop us a line today.

3/2/2010: Big welcome to Frameskin, coming on board as a sponsor for 2010.  Keep your bike looking better for longer, and visit the Frameskin website today.

31/1/2010: Call out for volunteers. Secure your place in the 2011 THE 100K'er. Whether you're visiting with family or friends, coming along to spectate, or you're a seasoned volunteer, WE WANT YOU! You'll receive heaps of thanks, food and drink to get you through the day AND a free entry to next years event for you or a friend. Contact us today if you can help out.

17/1/2010: THE 100K'er MTB Enduro is now 95% full. Get your entry in today, tell your mates to get their entries in, as we will be sold out very soon.

5/1/2010: We welcome Nitelights as a sponsor for THE 100k'er in 2010. Nitelights produce the latest craze in mountain bike light kits, a light that produces an amazing 900 lumens of light with an incredible price tag that won't break the bank. For more information, visit the Nitelights website.

3/1/2010: We would like to thank Patrick Pang, president of the Shaolin Temple Foundation, who has kindly supported the event and allowed us access to Comberton Grange, a 2600 acre private property bordering the Currambene State Forest to the south. This kind gesture has allowed us access to a host of new trails, hence the delay in posting a course map and profile to the website.

3/1/2010: We are pleased to announce that Shotz Sports Nutrition will be the official nutrition sponsor for The Husky Enduro.

20/11/2009: Congratulations to Matthew Moon from Mt. Kuringai in NSW, the winner of our accommodation, meal and massage pack, for being one of the first 300 entrants into the Husky Enduro. We will be giving away a few more random prizes while entries are coming in, so get your entry in soon and pick up a prize from one of our great sponsors.

19/11/2009: We've flown past the 300 entrant mark, so much so that we're now over 50% full and are now on the downhill run to being fully subscribed with 650 entrants. We will announce the winner of the competition in the next 24 hours, but in the meantime if you haven't entered already, time is seriously starting to run out, and we know that we all hate missing out on a great event. Get your entry in today!

13/11/2009: We've now reached 260 entrants which means there's only 40 spots left until we give away the accommodation, meal and massage pack. The prize draw should take place in a couple of days time, so get your entry in today.

29/10/2009: BlackHeart Events are extremely pleased to announce that camping at the Callala RSL Country Club sportsground will be free of charge, however the RSL have asked that you consider making a kind donation to Legacy while you are there for the race.

28/10/2009: The Husky Enduro will be based at the Callala RSL Country Club, on Callala Beach Rd. Special camping packages will be announced shortly, which will include camping sites on the RSL sports field with full shower and toilet amenities, and onsite catering. At this stage the RSL will also be hosting a partners (social) golf tournament and morning tea at a special all-inclusive price for competitor's partners and friends. Details to be confirmed shortly.

28/10/2009: X-Tri Australia director Nick Munting has been appointed race manager for the 2010 Husky Enduro. Nick brings a wealth of experience with him, being the current RD for the Half-Ironman triathlon events in Canberra, Yeppoon and Singapore, and also managed the 2006 ITU Long course triathlon world championships in Canberra.

21/10/2009: Mark Astley from the Australian Defence Cycling Club, has thrown down the challenge to Jason English by being the second competitor to enter the Elite category. Thus far, no ladies have put their hand up for the $1000 Elite winners prize on offer.... Who will be the first?

20/10/2009: 50km event 30% full. Word of mouth combined with the power of the internet have taken the crew of BlackHeart Events by surprise. Whilst print advertising hasn't even rolled out the door yet, entries have steadily been streaming in and we are now 30% full for the 50km event, while the 100ker isn't far behind. This event is going to be a corker, and with entries for the first year limited to a total of 650, you won't want to miss this one. Get your entries in today.

16/10/2009: World and Australian 24hr Solo Champion Jason English confirmed for the Husky Enduro.
