THE 100K'er MTB Enduro has been rescheduled to the 20th of June 2010, after some of the heaviest rainfalls in recent memory caused major flooding and severe damage to areas of the New South Wales South Coast.
"I think the main thing to consider here is, if competitors had raced, they would have been facing some fairly hefty repair bills to get their drivetrains operational again", said BlackHeart Events director Matt Koerber. Such was the condition of the track, mud quickly built up between wheels and the seat stay and forks, making riding virtually impossible.
"Because of the weather conditions, we realised that a lot of people were going to stay away by choice, so the only option in our mind was to reschedule the event so that all competitors could come down and appreciate the sweet riding that the Jervis Bay region has to offer, at a later date".
Competitors hoping to get an entry to the rescheduled THE 100K'er MTB Enduro can pick up entries online from Monday the 1st of March at 9am. Additional entries are strictly limited and will sell out quickly.
