Husky Entries open this Wednesday
Following the success of the inaugural Real Insurance XCM Series that saw Australia’s favourite MTB Marathon events joined into one definitive competition, organisers of the Husky 100, iAdventure, announce that entries to the 2012 Husky 100 & Husky 50 MTB Marathon will open this Wednesday, the 25th of January.
The Husky, in its 3rd year, has proven to be one of Australia’s favourite MTB Marathons, with a course that is achievable by all levels of rider, while it can still punish those that attack it too vehemently. The picturesque location of Jervis Bay provides a great escape for the family, being less than a two hour drive from both Sydney and Canberra.
Major changes for this year’s event include a shift to Saturday for the race, followed by a melt down after party on Saturday night in the RSL Club Auditorium with live entertainment. 2012 also sees a return to the event centre camping for both Friday and Saturday night for $10 or, for a small extra fee, you can move straight into the pre-erected Real Insurance Tent City.
Event entries are capped at only 1200 riders and are expected to go quickly. Entries are available through the event
website from 10am Wednesday.
