Where is Callala Beach?
Callala Beach is nestled on the shores of Jervis Bay, approximately 20 minutes from Nowra and a 2-hour drive from both Sydney and Canberra. Nearby Callala Bay has a good sized shopping centre.
Accommodation options in the immediate area are limited to a Jervis Bay Tourist Park, along with a multitude of holiday homes available through websites such as Stayz, making it the ideal holiday destination for families or groups of friends.
The bushland adjoining the local area is very popular with mountain bikers year-round.
The Stevens Bikes Husky 100 MTB Marathon is Round 4 of the Real Insurance XCM Series for 2012.
The Real Insurance XCM Series ranks mountain bike riders who compete in Marathon Events throughout the year, with $15,000 of additional prize money up for grabs for the series leaders.
