Race Categories

NOTE: Cyclocross (CX) bikes must have 700cc wheels, drop bars and no suspension.

Insurance

BlackHeart Events Management is covered by it's own public liability insurance. This does not include personal accident insurance or ambulance cover, which we recommend you take out prior to the race. You DO NOT need to be a member of MTBA or Cycling Australia, nor do you need to purchase a day licence, in order to compete in this event.

Cancellations, Transfers and changes

Cancellations:

• By the 18th May 2012 - Refund less 20% admin fee.
• By the 8th June 2012 - Refund less 50% admin fee.
• After the 8th June 2012 - No refunds are available.

Transfers between riders:

• By the 8th June 2012 - $10 transfer fee charged to the original purchase transaction.
• After 8th June - Not possible (entry data locked down and transferred off site).
• Friday race registration - $30 admin fee.
• Saturday race registration - Not allowed.

NOTE: To transfer an entry at registration, the new rider must bring a note from the original entrant verifying the entry transfer (printed email is sufficient), photographic ID and the admin fee in correct change.

Entry detail changes:

• By 8th June 2012 - $10 change fee charged to the original purchase transaction.
• After 8th June 2012 - Not possible until race registration.
• Friday race registration - $30 admin fee.
• Saturday race registration - Not allowed.

NOTE:  There is no change fee associated with upgrading from the 50km to the 100km event.  No refund of entry fee will be paid for a downgrade.

Credits/transfer between events:

• We do not offer credits for a cancelled entry towards a future event.
